Carbon Literacy Training 20th/21st Feb 2025

Over 103,000 individuals and 7,600 organisations are now certified with the Carbon Literacy Project (CLP); gaining awareness of the climate challenge, the cost of carbon & practical actions to take in the real world. Working with our sustainability partners at TerraVerde Sustainability we have prepared an exclusive, tailor-made Nordic & Baltic course for partners of the NORDIC TOURISM COLLECTIVE.

Course objectives

  • Understand greenhouse gases (GHGs): Gain a clear understanding of what GHGs are and how they influence both local and global weather and climate patterns.

  • Recognise your impact: Learn how our daily actions contribute to the production of GHGs.

  • Reduce your impact: Explore ways to minimise your personal carbon footprint.

  • Collective action: Discover how we can work together to combat climate change.

  • Develop an action plan: The steps to take as part of a collective effort to reduce GHG emissions.

  • Become a Carbon Literate Citizen: Achieve certification through the Carbon Literacy Trust.

  • Work with your peer group: in a fun and inspiring environment.

How it works

  • Our comprehensive training course is completed online over 2 days.

  • We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 12 participants, to ensure we can address your team’s questions effectively.

  • Certification will be awarded upon successful completion of the final assessment.
