THE NORDIC TOURISM COLLECTIVE

The Nordic Tourism Collective is an independent, not-for-profit collaborative membership network for the Nordic travel and tourism industry. Our aim is to help facilitate, through increased cooperation, the sustainable development of tourism in the Nordic and Baltic regions.

Together with our members and partners, we look forward to the recovery of tourism to the Nordic and Baltics.  With expectations that proximity and European markets will be the first to start travelling, there is focus also on the USA where vaccination progress is proceeding well.  Much depends on the the speed of the vaccine roll-out, testing coordination and the implementation of the EU-wide Digital Green Certificate. There is still much work to be done, but shoots of optimism are now evident.

The Collective is the only organisation that connects the entire Nordic region.  Membership is made up of hotel companies, tourist boards, DMCs, transportation companies, attractions, Nordic tourism suppliers and global travel buyers.  Our collaborative networking arena gives tourism professionals access to a unique community of Nordic suppliers and international buyers,  supported by dedicated Nordic B2B events, coordinated industry campaigns and B2B marketing representation opportunities.  The Collective also acts as a Nordic arm of ETOA - The European Tourism Association and so membership of the Nordic Tourism Collective gives automatic and immediate membership to  ETOA too, with full access to all of the ETOA  member-only activities and events.

THE NORDIC REGION

The Nordics, by our definition, is the geographical and cultural region of Northern Europe that includes Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden, as well as Greenland and the Faroe Islands. It also includes the Åland Islands, Svalbard and Jan Mayen archipelagos.

Although not strictly part of the Nordics, we also include Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia as we believe inclusion of the Baltic region is essential in the future development of the region as a whole.
